Routledge Studies in Liberty and Security

Since 2008, this series has linked critical studies in security and international relations with those in surveillance, criminology, law, human rights, political sociology, and political theory. The series will analyse the limits of the concepts of freedom and security by examining the associated practices (which are often the same), with the aim of providing a comprehensive understanding of these concepts. These investigations address contemporary issues, drawing on history, political theory, and reflections on the current international order.
